First Timer

Looking to get out for the first time on sunday. Any advice on where to go or what to use.

Buy a Muskie Mojo XXX, hit the rock piles on Mille Lacs. I hear that works pretty well.

This time of year, muskie fishing is at its peak. You should be able to go to just about any muskie lake and have a chance for fish. Start with some bucktails and then try some cranks. I like to troll fairly fast. Minnetonka, Independance, Whitebear, Eagle, ect should all be good. I usually fish around the fist drop off.

I'm curious as to what the water temp is out there? Are they hitting topwaters shallow, deep, weeds etc? I've been fishing weeds i can find that are green, but no luck granted i haven't tried topwaters much lately.

My depth finder is reading 41-43. I have been finding fish shallow and I believe the key is to work the lure slow and steady.
