Colored Depth finder

Question

I'm in the process of buying a new colored locator. Just wondering what people thoughts are on which kind and model to buy? I was looking at the Lowrance x25 or Eagle 2000 fish strike w/gps. Any comments would be greatly appreciated....<>< <>< <><

I purchased my first color unit, a Lowrance X67C, this past spring and I am very pleased. Good resolution, easy to see in daylight as well as dark, plenty of features to fine-tune it to my preferences.

Humminbird 777c2 or 787c2 if you want gps. I've documented 2.75 inch target separation (2 quarter ounce jigs tied close together) in 35 feet with the 777c2. For graph purposes, I think these are better than Lowrance. I don't know about the gps, but I think they use Magellan components.
