Just got back from the weight in. Team Minnesota is in first place after the first day. Biggest fish is a 6.4 (Mn.) and biggest bag 17 plus for 5 fish (Mn.).

wow. that a heck of a fish and bag. the fishing there must have turned around from last year. it was real tough for state last year. not much of a deep bite last year for state.

Central Bass, sorry about the delayed reply. I was there for the first day. Then had to leave for "tonka" to pre-fish, did the tournament, then the Cannon Tackle show and now I'm back home again for a week Yes, I'm willing to bet that most of the bigger fish came from deep water. When I let the dock bite was non-existant.

I finished 11th, I was in 6th after day 3, but tried to push for bigger bites, because I really wanted to cactch the #1 guy. I know for a fact that the two big bags from day 1 came off docks. My best fish came out of shallow milfoil that I flipped with a 3/8oz Tru-Tungsten Jig. I had a lot of deep areas, but I could never get any quality fish to go there.
