BLACKJACK
Hey crappiemagnet, looks like a cold weekend, how about a recipe for crappie chowder? I see that Labs4me has one on the previous page, but a person can't have too many recipes! Needs to be thick, my wife hates milky soup.Thanks. Some of your other recipes look good too, can't wait to try them. I like recipes that keep the ingredients down, anything over 8 gets bypassed. CrappieMagnet
Blackjack..Even though they have over 8 ingredients, they should'nt be overlooked.Taste is in the eye of the beholder...Try them..You'll like em'.Most of my family does.My brother-inlaw,said he never ate fish and he came over after i had just cooked dinner and he dipped a spoon in the food and could'nt get enough. He's a bonofied crappie eater now, even though he won't have nothing to do with catching them!Take care and i hope it goes over good with your wife! We all have to make the wives happy! LOL CM
BLACKJACK
Crappiemagent, '8' is just a rule of thumb, your recipes are within reason on number of ingredients, I meant that I don't like super complicated recipes with lots of ingredients. I went out at noon and bought some cheese and some leeks, going to try both your chowder recipes!
CrappieMagnet
Blackjack..k...Cool..let me know how you liked them. It's nice to know how people like em'.Any feedback could be helpful in the future.Thanks. CM

redhooks
Hey Crappiemagnet- I made it up to red last weekend and managed a few more fillets so I'll be trying some more of your recipes soon and will post the results, although I'm sure they will be excellent if they are anything like those fritters. I also wanted to say "Hi" to Blackjack who I met up on Red last friday night, nice to meet you guys and thanks for the pointers!May the crappies be plentiful enough to keep you tastebuds satisfied!redhooks[This message has been edited by redhooks (edited 02-03-2004).][This message has been edited by redhooks (edited 02-03-2004).]

Pherris
These all sound like great recipes. When I am in the kitchen cooking these great little munchers I usually do not have my computer handy to look up the recipes. So I have put all of these in a Word document that can be printed and put in the good ole recipe book If anyone would like a copy of the document just email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to send it over. Almost crappie time!!~
