Cooter
Heading to NW Angle Fri and was wondering if anyone knows where the cheapest gas is from Duluth to Int. Falls to Warroad? Thanks. Looking at $300+ in gas for the trip
Bushwacker
If you do a Yahoo search for Minnesota Gas Prices there is a site that tells you gas prices for all over the state. All of the information is reported by customers/passer-bys so some of the areas are a little spotty with reports, but almost all of the bigger towns are updated daily. BobT
For the past two years, and I am unable to explain why, I have found that Hibbing is typically about $.08 - $.10 less than anywhere I pass on my way up there. Two weeks ago I left Osakis and everything was higher by about $.02. I get to Hibbing and it is $.10 lower than Osakis and even nearby Chisholm and Nashwauk. colonel42
The reason for this is the WxxMxxt Superstore. All of the gas stations in town are low in order to compete with them. Price this AM was $2.98 per gal
fishermn
Typically the gas in Cloquet and Scanlon is around the same price as Hibbing for the same reason...
Cooter
Thanks, beats the $3.20+ around here. Think its 3.25, later.
echotrail
The Station in Cloquet next to the Wal Mart is the areas best price. It's on the North bound side of the highway at the south end of town. Cook and Orr always seem to be .06 to .10 higher than Cloquet. Jims on the corner of Hwy 53 and Ash River Trail is usually less than Orr by a few cents. The Grebe
Cheapest gas in Minnesota is the gas someone came into our garage and stold, while my wife and I were working in the back yard! About 6-8 gallons in three different plastic gas cans.Someone had also tried to get the gas out of the tank in my boat...had to be kids, they tried to unscrew the fitting in the tank and had the hose all twisted up....all they would have had to do is unsnap the hose connection, one little pinch and it would have been theirs!Even though I have locking gas caps, I'm running all 4 trucks at 1/4 to 1/2 tank, unless I have to go somewhere far....if I get hit, they won't get as much!
