Fantasy Football League

Alright it's about that time of the year to start thinkin about fantasy football. I went out and created a totally free league with yahoo. It's a head to head system which basically means 2 teams face off each week in a points system. I have it on the autopick draft(which can be changed if others want a live draft). It is going to be a fun and friendly league and hopefully very competitive. Anyone is welcome to join. And its open to the first 9 that want to join. IF you would like to join my league please just post in here and i will get out the details to you very soon. Like I said it's a 10 team league so the first 9 to want in can get in.

If you could all send me your email addresses(not sure how to on here without them blocking the names) i can send you the league ID# and password. As soon as we have all 10 players set the draft will commence. I would recommend pre-ranking all the players you want well before the actual draft takes place also. But send a email to me at oOTotalpowerOo at aol (Contact Us Please). And i will get you all the ID# and password. Thanks for the interest guys!

If I could make one suggestion for doing your draft. I would suggest you wait to do your draft until toward the end of training camp. Every year there are good players that go down with injuries in training camp and if you do your draft now those players will already be drafted.

Those teams unlucky enough to get these players could be out of the running before the season ever starts.

I have done yahoo leauges for a few years now and I have been hurt by that before.

If you wait a bit you can let training camp injuries sort themselves out that way everyone gets a more competetive team.

That's actually a really good idea. I am kinda glad you thought of it before I did. But that is kinda the downside of football. A real team has to do what it has to do when a player goes down with an injury I.E. Waiver Wire or trade. I will have to see what they all think about this. So guys voice your opinion on waiting till after training camp or drafting once the league fills.

Forgot to mention I think you can count on me playing. Whats one more league?

[email protected] is my email

So I guess my preference is to wait for the draft but it is true that dealing with the injuries of camp are things real teams have to deal with so it might make it more realistic.

Usually in the league I am commissioner of I do the draft pretty late in camp but not at the last second. I usually like teams to have a week or so to tweek their teams before things get going.

Yeah with everyone so up to this point there are 9 now. I belive there is one more spot but let me get the rest the link first and find out exactally how many there are...I am not 100% sure but there may be a way for me to make the league larger? I will check and get back here asap.

With everyone that wants in there are currently going to be 9 spots taken in the 10 man league so 1 more and the league will be set. I also found out that I can let yahoo know when we want to draft. So if everyone does end up wanting to wait until after training camp that is possible.

Also sorry for having to have these individual posts but I can change the number of people in the league before the auto draft takes place. Max is 20 teams so anyone that wants in there is theoretically 11 spaces left.
