hanson
Depends on what you want to spend I guess.#1 on my list would be Rams also. However, I just gave a very cheap bunch of Action Rod Tenders a good workout with 20lb channel cats and engaged spools! You get 2 rod holders for $14. Can't really beat that and they are still in one piece after last weekend.
castmaster
i can also recommend down east holders. i've got 4 on my boat and love them. as tough or tougher than anything else on the market and one of the easiest rod releases out there. just pull the rod straight up and it releases. Mistermojo
Anyone else had good luck with the action products holders? I'm on a budget and $14.99 for 2 seems like a nice deal. Hanson, did you get a chance to use yours anymore? Thanks,Mojo
beer batter
I've used them and they work. If you're just trolling spoons or plugs they'll be fine. The plastic is thinner and more flexible than the leading brands but that's why you get them at a price of 4 compared to 1 of the RAM's.
