0 Desperado
If you're in Centerville, this one would be pretty close to you. They're on the east side of I35 just south of exit 129 (basically across the freeway from Gander Mountain).Mark's Prop Shop 15250 Hornsby St NEForest Lake, MN 55025 - 8118I've used them three times in the last five years and have always been happy with their work and how they treat me as a customer. 0 Desperado
Depends what you have and how bad of shape it's in. I've had some pretty dinged up and ...As I recall, prop repair has usually cost me about half of what it would cost to buy the same prop brand new. 0 hitthebricks
Formula prop is a place I purchaced a stainless prop a few years ago and had problems. The owners son told me I needed a 23" prop and could exchange it if didn't work. I was givin what looked like a new prop in a open box, gave it a try, didn't work, went back to exchange it and was told no, because the prop showed signs of being repaired by being ground on the front edge. A friend used to bring his there for repair often until he brought it to Marks, and found out his prop had been cut down to a 12" prop from a 14 1/4 dia. that was just our experience with them. 0 burl
Any body get the feeling they dont want your buiness at formula?I purchased a stainless balistic prop from them that he told me was a very good prop.He said i could bring it back to trade if i wanted to up grade. When i brought it back he told me it was a piece of dump and would not give me any thing for it.It looked like new with no damage at all.One other time he chewed me out for straightening some slight damage on a prop with a cresent wrench till i was able to bring it in for repair.I couldnt recomend this shop to any one.Burl.
