Last weeks games and poor play have nothing to do with my opinion that any 3rd place game in any conference tournament is joke probably why Hockey East got rid of it, by the way you asked and were hoping there was a 3rd place NCAA Hockey Game.... Yes and I have Free tickets if you want them, I'll leave them at the will call window for you and Raj22 you guys seem inseparable.... grin.gifgrin.gifgrin.gif just kidding basketball doesn't even have 3rd place games.... smirk.gif

That's pretty funny you guy's whined about how bad it was for the Gophers last week yet I'm pretty sure I predicted a close game and unlike you I had the Gophers needing a late goal to advance and I also had them losing to ND next anyway. I didn't like how we were playing the last month really and I thought there would be a let down after winning the conference and I also didn't like Briggs consistancy not that he cost us this game but it looked like he was day dreaming I also knew Holy cross was decent with 10 players from their 04 tourney team that almost took out the Sue, throw in the fact Holy Cross has the same amount of losses as WE DO and the smaller ink I figured we would be in for a fight...Hopefully this [PoorWordUsage]es off Poltulny and Irmen and they stick around for next season but I still doubt it .

Just a little honest ribbing, and I was impressed with your prediction. I still think back to that "best program in the country" statement. confused.gif I agree for the most part with the "every kid wants to play there" statement, I guess it just doesn't pertain to goalies. Who do we root for now? I could never pull for the Badgers, it looks like it's go Sioux and Tigers. What do you think Raj, my siamese twin? How was the fishin' pier?

Wisc vs BSU 0-0 half way through first Beavs look good.

BSU has only four seniors...but 16 players 22 years and older confused.gifconfused.gifconfused.gif

Yep I had them mixed up.

After losing four straight games to their Commonwealth Avenue counterparts — including the Beanpot Championship in February and the Hockey East Championship just one week ago — the fifth time proved to be the charm for the Eagles. grin.gif

Why would you say something like that, your favorite teams are Cornell & BC? Unless you are from the east coast. Once the U got bounced then it is all about the west beating the [PoorWordUsage] out of the eastern schools!!!

It is just like being from northern MN, which I am, I could careless if my old school represents the north as long as the northern schools come down to St, Paul and beat the tar out of the Metro schools.

That was an amazing game last night...what a way to top off the weekend after attending the games up at the Ralph on Friday and Saturday.

And I'm with duckbuster on this...I had my Gophers jersey ready to wear to the anticipated Gopher/Sioux game on Saturday...when that didn't happen, I happily cheered for the Sioux.

It's all about the WCHA proving their dominance...and, as my wife says, about puting some "midwestern butt-kicking on those eastern pansies..."

Here's hoping for a Sioux/Badger matchup in the final...
