new gun

i bought a Tikka T3 in 30-06. are the tikkas a good gun? ive heard some good things, has anyone tried one of these?

I purchased a tikka t3 last fall in 270 caliber went out to Wyoming and shot a antelope iam very happy with the gun its a solid gun. Had it bore sighted it was right on at 100 yards have only shot about 80 rounds through it i love it so far.

I bought one last year, the t3 lite in 300 wsm. Havent shot it alot,30 times. Shot a nice 8pt this year with it. great gun!! love the weight ,bolt action, and trigger. couldnt be happier with it!!!

have'nt shot it yet. i am waiting for it to warm up a little bit. it seams to fit real natural for me. i only paid 475 bucks. i didnt think that was so bad.

I bought a Tikka t-3 lite in a .223 from cabin fever in victoria a few years ago. I LOVE IT. The gun is amazingly accurate. I would love to get the same gun in the 270WSM for sheep hunting. Nice and light, and deadly accurate.

I don't own one yet but I admit I have heard nothing but positives about there guns. I plan on purchaseing a new Tikka 223 varmint rifle this summer. I was a little sceptical about the composit magazines but I have done a little research and I have heard they hold up well.

That bothered me at first also, the composite mags, I thought what if they get chipped, run over, etc... then I thought about it if a metal clip gets beat up it won't work either. I still need to buy a spare clip just to be on the safe side.
