Looking for good CROW Recipie

[lots of luck]

Well as a Bears fan that started and maintained many threads I am looking for a recipie that would serve Windy and I a generous portion of CROW.

I heard Charles Tillman (33) was the MVP for the Carolina Panthers.....geeesh!

I also heard that the Bears are going to spend the entire spring mini camp learning to run up and down the field while looking over their shoulders.

I did see some positives though. No reason they cannot play for a divisional title again, barring injuries.

LOW, I tell ya. I'm no where near a Bears fan but their run this season was slightly impressive.

Next year the NFC Norris may actually be interesting to watch. If Chi-town can hold onto their defense, and make a few improvements to the offense, it will definately make divisional games worth watching.

Having said all that..........SKOL VIKINGS. I may have some crow left overs rotting in the fridge.

As a Vikings fan, I have eaten crow many times in the past. It is best served with hint of "future hope", a dash of "1st round pick", and pinch of "wait 'til next year".

He deserves to eat...but I'm afraid that Windy is such an out and out Bears fan that he is blind (to reality - they were extremely lucky this year) and therefore would probably not be able to see what he is eating anyway.

I feel for Windy. to go out on a limb and then have the whole tree cut out from under ya...In the end the Vikes and the Bears and even the Packers are all in the same boat.. Sitting at home watching....

Except the vikes and Packers get a better draft choice, the Packers get a way better draft pick for being soooo bad!

Can't say I feel sorry for Windy--he was predicting a Super Bowl victory for his Bears before the playoffs even started. Like any Viking fan, I know that you don't brag about Super Bowl trips until Gary Anderson makes the field goal, or Darrin Nelson catches the pass.

Eyehunter, if you think I was serious then you have not read enough of my posts. Buzz, Geno and Lots of Luck can probably back me up in saying that I was just as surprised as the next Bears fan with the outstanding season they had. The guys know that we come on here to talk smack and it is all done in fun. It's nice that this forum allows us to "trade barbs" with fans from other cities, otherwise we would have to kill each other over the Cubs and Sox and that would be it. Anyway, great season, terrible playoff game plan by Lovie Smith, though he still has to be the coach of the year when you look at how everybody preditcted the Bears to finish.

My bad--I guess I missed the *sarcasm* markings, the disclaimers, the sentences saying something like "but seriously, I don't think the Bears will make the Super Bowl", and all the other admissions that you didn't think this was the Bears' year, just like I never saw all the die-hard White Sox fans in Iowa City (a Bear/Cub/Bulls town in pro sports) until three months ago when they all appeared from nowhere with their fresh new White Sox gear.

Geno knows. I'm sure Buzz will chime in with the same. I never expected the Bears to be anywhere close to what they finished and as for the Sox, I would have to say that I would have picked them to be in the hunt but to get beat by the Twinks or Injuns this past year. I never thought they would gel like they did and the Lee for Pods trade was a big question mark that turned out golden for the pale hose. But be assured that the talk, smack talk and crowing never stops on this forum...and it shouldn't. It's just big kids having fun inbetween fishing! No harm though, I got plenty of cold beer to wash down a little crow! To alcohol, the answer to and cause of all life's problems!
