Electronic coyote callers

How are these cheap coyote callers for $ 20.00. They have few choices of calls.

Do they work or it's just a waste of money ?

What's a good call that doesn't break the bank or cost 1/2 of the rifle

My suggestion is save your money. I have a older cheaper electronic one. I hate it, if your in an area that gets a reasonable amount of hunting pressure you need something that is good. I have a new Minaska Bandit on order and should be here early next week. Any of the more recent FoxPro's are decent too.

We have an older cassette caller I am sure we won't use any more. It has a recharable battery attached to the machine. There is a charger, 6 tapes, and a carry bag. The speaker is attached right now to a long roll of heavy speaker wire. Not sure what it is worth, but could stop by with it sometime if we knew you were home on a trip to your area? I'm sure we could work out a deal.

Zumbroric let's keep for sale items in the For Sale sections, thanks.

I just made my own from a CD player and downloaded sounds from WesternRivers web site. Works like a champ.

I am going to build my own portable since I cannot justify $ 450.00 for a caller.....there is a site which gives good instructions, and it is not that tough to do.

Practically they are MP3/wave player with or without a memory card, an amplifier, and a speaker.

Trickiest part is the remote control.

Animal calls can be downloaded anywhere on internet, I really get irated to see some sells a $ 20 memory card with 5 or 6 calls at $ 150.00.......

Quakersmacker, Went out all afternoon until just past dark around the Wrenshall area Friday and also some on the Blackhoof wildlife area. 5 set-ups; nothing. But my old neighbor in Esko called me Sat morning, he shot one in his yard that morning and said there was 2 more. So I know where I am going next. I know where a couple of other goods yote sitings have been but I am waiting to hit those until I get my new E-caller laugh.gif. Anytime your going give me a call, be glad to go with. My other hunting buddy might be leaving next Sunday for 2 months to Utah. frown.gif 879-6237

End Of The Line, I may do that, however I am leaving for Utah as well on the 5th of Feb for three weeks. I would like to get out before then. I am new to the whole yote hunting game. I am looking forward to trying the two new digital disks I got for my Johnny Stewart caller. My number is 218-393-3362. We will be in touch.
