How 'bout a list of those 'must haves' for next year? My list would include:

Shumway Flasher

Shallow BullDawg

Double D Crank(do they make one in RED?)

Doc Topwater

Squirrely Jake 8"

That just for now, I'm sure the list will expand after hitting a couple musky expos - gonna try to hit both of em in the Metro area this year.

I will be buying some more Hellhounds. Bought one at the end of the this season and really like it. Love the action it has when it sinks. Also want a few more Bull Dawgs and I need some more top water lures. Can't wait for the Muskie Expo next month. Going to need to put in some overtime at work to pay for it all. laugh.gif

I'm going to get a couple more of the Buchertail Mogambo combos in different colors. I never used one before and caught a musky with it the first day this past November. I also had about 5 follows with it including another strike. The tail is all shredded and I had to cut the hooks after landing the fish.

After hearing the all good things about the Hellhounds over the summer I think I'm going to have to put a few in the ol'box for next season. I'm also interested to see the new lure Todd Cleveland of Phantom Lures will have this year. Would like to pick an extreme phantom too. And anything else that catches my eye. I heard Dunwright Tackle has a new lure being interduced this winter, if it's anything like the Dancer, I'll be grabbing one of those also.

I can hear my wallet chewing me out already, at least I think it's my wallet.

Hey RU - Have you seen the new Dunwright in Smokey's catalog? The 'Smokenstein' pattern? You can get it either as topwater walk the dog style or subsurface glider. Very interesting - may have to add that to the list.
