New Boots

I went out on a limb yesterday and bought a pair of the Rocky Blizzard stalkers, 1200 grams of thinsulate. The last two seasons I have been wearing the lacrosse rubber boots wich also have 1200 grams. I really liked the rubber knee high boots because they are so conveniant and warm. Does anyone else have these blizzard stalkers and do they like them? Iceman out>

i have the rockys and use them for work, never used for ice fishing but think they would be just fine

i own them and i love them, super warm and are a lot more comfortable/manageable than the rubber ones.

I was very close to buying the blizzars stalkers as well but opted for the Muck Boots and couldn't be happier. First time that I have ever sat in a deer stand for a six hour post and did not get cold feet! In fact they were almost too warm which I will never complain about. I'm sure the Rocky's are just as warm but the waterproof feature of the Muck Boots are the deciding factor for me.

Third year with my blizzard stalkers and I love them. I've been in 35 below weather on LOW and stayed warm.

The Rockys are a great boot. Plenty warm if you move around a little and fully waterproof.

I bought Cabela's Predators this fall and have never had cold feet, even after setting on my deer stand 4 to 5 hours. Which is a first for me!

I have the Rocky Ice stalkers that are about 5 years old. Love them. They have 1000 grams of thinsulate and they keep my feet warm when I am out fishing.. Good Boots

The Muckboots are not only warm they are extremely comfortable.

I agree Rick, not only are they comfortable but they are extremely light as well. Too often we have to sacrifice warmth to get a lighter boot, but that is not the case with the Muck boots.

Whatever happened to moon boots? From what I remember the were really warm and lightweight!
