Put my baby to sleep tonight.

It always hurts, doesn't it? If for no other reason, it hurts because you know it will not be able to rise to the ocassion until roughly April.

My boat gave me a nice present on it's last outing this year by refusing to use it's water pump properly. That will be dealt with come spring. I can't wait to pick up the tab for that one.

I put my Tracker away last Monday before Thanksgiving! Then it started to get nice again but not for long. Most of the west metro lakes are ice covered. The rain has opened a few of them back up. This week will definately put the Kabosh on the soft water!

I've got a busted light housing and a tuneup to look forward to in April! No biggie as I put lots of hours on the water this past season! God Bless America!!

I still have my baby out, I made three trips in Dec and if this weather holds out (crossing fingers) I'll make a few trips in Jan. I know I will fish In Feb because I am taking her with me to Texas for a week long trip. 12 months of open water fishing, that what I'm talking about.

Dan, if the weather holds out you can come and fish off my dock, there is so much water on the ice.... I put the ranger away in Nov. Took it in for any warranty work and other small stuff...(skeg and prop repair maybe...) then had it completely detailed... I know, I know, but Alex. Marine takes such good care of me and my toy. grin.gif Any way, I took her home and backed it into the garage stall, proceeding to hit a shelf bracket and put a 6 inch gauge along the side, thru the gel coat. Who said as you get older you get smarter confused.gif
