I have a fish trap voyager and I'm thinking I'd like to lube the poles, but I'm wondering what one should use??? silicone....car wax...soap??? any ideas from anyone who has tried? Wet lubes attract dust and dirt, and the eventual friction they produce will make it harder, not easier, to work the poles. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
0 Jim Hudson Posted November 29, 2005 Share Posted November 29, 2005 Silicone here too... Another thing I do, is run some steel wool over the poles, especially if they are new. This will take off any excess metal and make them even more smoother then they already are. Lube them up with a bit of Silicone, and your good to go...
