Deer hunting must have

Recommended Posts

Ok, here is the question. What is the one thing you take to deer camp that no one else would think of? Could be food, certain clothes, or gadgets. For myself, as sick as it sounds, it is pickled gizzards. That and a frosty beer, heaven!

athletic tape. a few years back, a buddy of mine started taping his socks to his long underware in an effort to keep them from falling down when walking in pac boots. it works so good i never leave home without it. so there it is, tape, and magizines filled with pictures of ladies of ill repute. but thats just me. best to all of you this weekend!

While this is from elk camp, it goes for deer camps as well - Desiten.

If there is any chafing or rashes down in the nether regions, this stuff is a real hunt saver.

Baby wipes are a close second for personal clean up if there is no running water.

I'm using these this year and I'm pretty sure no one else in our camp will have them. I used goose decoys made by the same company this year in Manitoba and North Dakota and they worked better than any spinner. So I'm going to try out the deer. I read Gary Clancy's book on calling, rattling, and decoying so I think I'm ready.
