Northlander
Dennis let me know if you need another body on the Rainy River. Even if you dont I can tow my boat up I just dont have anyone who likes fall fishing that much. I have some new plastics I have to try up there. The Grebe
B.B.....Went out Muskie fishing one last time last week, wanted to get the Stabil through the system, my son got a nice 34 inch northern, the only fish caught. Cleaned the boat up, drained the motor (I need a new lower unit seal) and covered it up for the long winter months. Now it's shore fishing time for us, we do the river thing, we were out to the Crow yesterday...a couple of cats, a couple of bass, one walleye and lots of bullheads. We will continue on the rivers until it starts icing up the eyes on the rod, then we wait for the truely hard water. Duffman
Here's one little reason why the diehards are still fishing; Friday evenings catch. It can be slow this time of year, but catching one fish can sure make a guys day. A great time to be out, ya got the fall colors going strong, taking mock shots at ducks with your rod, and ya never know if today is the day Miss Piggy wants to come out and play. Bobby Bass
Now that is a reason to keep the boat wet!

Random guy
I will fish until I can not push the boat through the ice along shore. Two years ago I took a fall trip with the boat for fishing musky on the big water and brought the portable and ice gear with for the crappies on the small frozen lakes. I don't know if thats diehard or just messed up?
