I Just ordered the Revolution bag from Stone Legacy and I must say that it is awesome!! It is just what you need if you like to have everything you want in one bag. But more important, I wanted to paise the company for there impeccable customer service!! I ordered the bag on 9/28 and it arrived by noon on 9/29! talk about fast shipping!! The best part is that shipping is free!! I had it shipped to my work and forgot to include the name of my company. So I got an e-mail later that day asking for my companys name to insure proper delivery, but by the time I had gotten around to replying I had already recieved my rod bag!! Just wanted to give the guys at Stone Legacy a good word, and give any of you hardwater fishers out there a good place to go if you are in the market for a new rod bag!!

I also use the Revolution for all my ice fishing needs. A great rod/gear bag that really covers all the bases. I have one Revolution rigged for pannies and another one for larger gamefish. I can fit all my rods/reels and gear in each. A very durable bag as well.

Steve from Stone Legacy (Ice Fishing Dept.) has worked hard to develop a product that truly caters to the ice angler. We (FishingMN and IceLeaders) worked together with Steve to design the Revolution a couple years back. Steve came up with an outstanding idea/product and through a season/process of fine-tuning I feel we've established a pretty solid basis for a top-notch rod/gear bag.

With the advancements made in ice fishing in recent years, the competition can get rather fierce, and there are a lot of rod/gear bags out there to choose from (many of which are nice and will work just fine as well), but I've personally become very fond of the Revolution by Stone Legacy. My Revolutions are with me EVERY time I hit the ice. However, personal preferrence is what it all comes down to...

Good Fishin,

Matt Johnson

Stone Legacy probably offers the best all around protection of any rod case on the market. The are great good rod protection and well thought out design. I never go on the ice without it. There are several other great bags out there including the one by JR's. It is a very durable bag but doesn't offer the rod protection capabilities of Stone Legacy.

I've really become fond of Stone Legacy's Premium Ice Rod cases as well. They allow me to carry two rod/reel combos for easy access as well as some tackle in the side zipper pouch. I use them for storing some of my finesse rods when running and gunning for pannies. Two spring bobber rods, some jigs and finnese plastics, a container of maggies, and I'm good to go once I grab the auger and MarCum. You can even attach two Premium Ice Rod cases together if you wish. Another great option if you're looking at going light when hole hopping for your desired species...

My revolution came today, looks pretty sweet!! I have a question tho for anyone who has one of these. When I unzip the rod compartment, im looking at it and it appears there are some zip ties holding the dividers together.....Am I supposed to undo these? Also it looks like the sides may have interlocking channels but I am unsure how to assemble or if they in fact do interlock with another piece. The area I am referring to is strictly the black plastic rod sections. Can anyone enlighten me? Iceman out>

You won't have to undo any zip ties. The channels are meant to have some give and move around. They don't interlock with another piece. They are angled like that so you can utilize more space allowing you to store more rods.

I typically run with 4 rods in my Revolutions. Each rod/reel combo has its own slot and there is no tangles. Very easy access of which ever rod you want to use.

However, I will sometimes store up to 8 rod/reel combos in my Revolutions when traveling. And then once I get organized for a day on the ice I'll take some out and get rigged up with the ones I'll use for the given conditions...
