Great deal on the Batson RX8s as well - that is a very, very nice blank for the money. I'd put it up against the Avids any day of the week. Out of curiosity - did you get the Allstar blanks from Andy Dear??

Well Im glad I called Bill. Sounds like the rods were flying out the doors at these prices. Custom made Avid with the handle, colors, guides and hook keeper that I wanted. Plus it has my name on it. Thats the beauty of a custom rod, its just how you want it. At these prices you cant go wrong!

Chuckn you will like that Batson and I think you will learn to really like that sensor grip once you get used to not having all that cork under your palm. I really like mine.
