Yesterday (8/20) I was unable to log onto the FM HSOforum, and found myself getting edgy, and wondering what else there was to do! I usually check the site first thing in the morning, and check back often during the day.

When I could'nt get on, I thought "Huh?" and my bud and I took our 3 wheelers out and done some ditch running.

When I still could'nt get on when we got back, I thought, "Huh? something shesa not right?" Kinda leaves a void when your used to periodic B.S.ing through this site!

I suppose like anything else, it has to shut down once in awhile for maintainence and/or upgrade. Glad that it is back to business as usual.

I agree, it almost caused a nervious break down...lucky I was out shopping for a new vehicle most of the day and had my mind elsewhere.

I try and visit the site at least two to three times a day. Once when I get up, once in the afternoon and once after I get home from work..(I work eves). Best site I ever found...helped me on all of my fishing questions...and just recently helped me get the best price on my new vehicle. I LOVE FM!

It's a good thing it happened on a saturday. If it would have happened during the week when everyone is supposed to be working it could have shut the state's economy down.

Ive only been a member a short while and i couldnt get on myself but I didnt like it much, im on here alot also cant beat some of the stories and news I read on here everyday, Soon Ill be buying a home in minnesota and like most of you, theres nuttin like a day fishing, hope to see you all on the water someday, love the info keep it coming

Yeah, yesterday it was just edgy. Any other day and I would have broken out in a cold sweat or something. My groom of 17 years and our girls went on an anniversary surprise outing. We planned the day, and didn't tell the girls where we were going. It was fun, so I at least had something to look forward to yesterday.

del, where is Sumner? My dad graduated from Swaledale, and I have relatives from Hampton to Mason City.

sumner is located 40 mi. N.E. of waterloo. if you family knows any mutschler or dohlmans in hampton,( my cousin was/is president of the school board) they are relatives.

I was wondering if someone can tell me how to start a new post instead of replying to someone elses add, maybe its right in front of me telling me how to do it but i cant find it lol thanks for all the info i can get

On the topic page (in this case Open Water), there should be a spot to click on called 'post' at the top - a green rectangle. Once you hit that, it is just like replying to other posts, only you choose the subject line. Every time I am on this site, I find something new!

Thanks alot I'll gittr done lol theres alot to this but is very interseting cant wait till i move up there, i have the fishing fever bad and theres no fishing here where im at so i sit and read these topics and just get excited to read them lol, knowing ill be there soon, hopefully before ice on the lakes, well thanks for the info
