Mn Walleye 1976
For a heads up, I seen a dozen mallard decoys at wallmart today for $18.88. Yes a dozen. Thought I would give you hunters a heads up on the deal. This was at the St. Cloud store.
magnumthunder
You will get what you pay for. 2 years ago I bought some cheapies too. Looked great first day. Just putting them in to the bag wore the paint off. The plastic isn't very heavy either. Packing in the bag like normal will dent them and they will crack at the seams. From now on I'll spend double the $ for dekes that will last for more than 1 season! just my $.02 Thanks for the heads up though.

mwktrapper
I've been using these Flambeaus for the past several years and they've been holding up great. To say the least, I'm not easy on my dekes in the field either. I like the water keel cause I'm mostly hunting shallow, pack-in spots and their movement is what pulls in birds. Mix in some featherlites (which aren't a bad price either) and you have a mobile spread with good looks and a lot of great motion. Sure I've lost some paint but it's nothing worth crying about when you've only paid $1.50 per decoy and you can make your money back via hsolist or garage sale. Even so, I haven't lost enough paint on a decoy that I would put it on the shelf. It's usually lost down under the chest and only after several seasons of use. I'd say they're worth your money. Quackaddict9
well to say about these Flambeaus for 19.99, I bought a doz last year because they were cheap and looked good but when I opened the box and there was paint peeling off on most of the decoys and some of them were like really bad.. and returned it the next day and bought a Doz of GHG hot buys and they are holding up well... jbell1981
I have been buying the cheapest decoys they have at wal-mart and fleet farm for a while. The first dozen I bought was probably 8 years ago and still look great. I wouldn't buy anything else, just wasting money for the same thing as far as I am concerned. ~Josh
