Yep

I will be presenting my money to the vendors there.

Sorry, I couldn't help it.

I love Game Fair! I do almost all of my purchasing for the year there. You can't beat the deals on the last day.

I will definitely be there again this year. My girlfriend and I enjoy watching some of the dog competitions. I am also considering getting a Lab next year and would like to talk with some of the trainers at the Fair. Also, I need to pick up some new duck and goose calls since last deer season our hunting shack burnt down. frown.gif We lost all of our clothing, ammo and accessories not to mention all of the memories with that little shack. But things are looking up. We've replaced most everything including a new shack. I am looking forward to the hunting season and can't wait to start practicing with some new duck and goose calls.

I will be in the Anoka Cty Pheasants Forever booth for some of the time. If you come by our booth (and you have to as we are not far from the entrance) get out you $1 and buy a ticket on our Benellie SBE. All the proceeds will go to the Build-A-Wildlife Area campaign. If you havent heard of that, Pheasants Forever will be buying a piece of property that will be open to public hunting and managed for wildlife with this program. It doesnt get any more direct, your $1 goes right into the property!

Its at Armstrong Ranch between Anoka and Elk River, about 20 minutes northwest of Minneapolis. Take hyw 10 to Armstrong Road (83) and go north a couple miles. Watch for the sign for Lions parking.

You'll want to park in the lot operated by the local Lions club, pay a few bucks to park. Ride their shuttle bus about a 3/4 mile to the gate. Bring your dog on the bus, its a tradition, and it may be his only chance to ride on a school bus. He'll be right at home with the thousand other dogs that'll be there. Watch where you step.

I think they require a rabbies tag if you are bringing your dog. You may want to call them if you are bringing a dog.

9 bucks for adults.

Really you want to check their web site, you may want to bring your shotgun, or bow or other stuff.

I go every couple years to see whats new, and get the blood pumping for hunting season. Its a riot.

I will be working at the Minnesota Deer Hunters Asso. booth selling raffle tickets. Stop in with $2.00 and enter our drawing, held on 8/21 at the Game Fair. We raffle off 3 guns, Weatherby rifle, Mossberg 935 and a Henry Golden Boy. All profit goes to send kids laugh.gif(our future) to Forkhorn Camp.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
