Cute, Deitz!! Matt was unfortunate to have sunburned feet during the event. Now Matt, are those "water bubbles" or are they " blisters"?? Can a Dr. please answer the question? LOL Hope your feet feel better after all the grief we gave you.... Like always, it was an awesome time!! MANY thanks to Ron for being an incredible host again and camping on his property. It was a great time!! Can't wait for Rush...
Deitz Dittrich
What a hoot!.. I think we could have caught more fish if the wind would have picked up! DAAAAAAAYYYYYYYUUUMMMMMM it was windy! And nobody can mess with the super fly awesomo 4000 south park PJ's... They are the bomb! And believe it or not.. matts feet looked worse in person! Matt Johnson
Yes, they looked (and still look) much worse in person Talk about a pain-in-the-foot!! Not to worry, my feet are both just one big blister now (or are they water bubbles? ). The swelling has gone away, but the blisters just keeping getting bigger... Deitz's pj's were most definitely cute! They really went well with the white viser Actually I can't say too much, I was a big fan of zubas... Some of the weights brought in were very impressive, no doubt about that. Some nice walleyes and panfish! The big bass were tough to come by, a lot of 1-2 pound fish, but finding any real hogs was tough. We ended up spending the entire day in one bay that was out of the wind. We ventured out onto the mainlake to see if we could hit one of the spots we did well on during pre-fishing but the wind was just pounding that area and it made fishing it very tough. So, back to our bay we went. That bay produced all day though. Kudos to those who found the walleyes, it paid off that's for sure. This weekend was a lot of fun and it's always a pleasure hanging out with all of you. Thank's to Ron for being such an excellent host! From the second we arrived to the time we left, Ron made it a very worthwhile experience! Ron, you're a class-act dude! See everyone at Rush!!! Borch
It there was just a little more wind I think we could have pulled it out. I never put the electric trolling motor in the water. Controlled drift with a wind sock in the wind for us. Very impressive catches by everyone. Ny brother though we had a good chance and I told him, "keep fishing! We need a couple more." Turns out I was right. See ya on Rush!
ChuckN
I loved every second of the wind and clouds. The T-storms, however, were not necessary. Good thing Matt and Brian left when their fishing rods started buzzin!!
Bushwacker
34 lbs of fish in 8 hours of fishing??!!?? Wow, that is crazy, on top of that, the wind made it tough to fish half of the lake. That was very impressive. A lot of good numbers came in. That was a great lake selection for the tournament. I think a good time was had by all. I can't wait for the Rush lake event! Matt Johnson
Yeah, when I lifted the graphite rod above my head and it started buzzing, that's when I realized it was time to head back to weigh-in a few minutes early Good Fishin, Matt Johnson

JJA
34lbs of fish is very good. I was just happy we caught some fish on this event as I was embarrassed after the Whitefish event. Hopefully we can keep improving as we go. Sorry I wasn't able to make it to the campsite for a bit to meet everyone. I am sure the Rush Lake event will be different. See you then.Jon
ChuckN
I just hope Glenn and Belinda return for the next 2 events so we can see if they know how to fish more lakes than Ida. JJA, these events are meant to not only compete, but I can say we are also happy to share information to help others out and teach. You and Nik made a nice improvement and I was glad to see that. Sheephead Slayer
What a great time!! The campfire party is always the best part, someone always does something to spark some good conversation, like wear weirdo PJ's or say quotes like "Those aren't blisters their water bubbles" lol. J/K guys, we need fuel for the fires:) Or maybe they feed their wallets to the water gods, heh What a pain, I've been at like 5 different government offfices so far this week, and still have more to do!!!! See you all at rush. Kevin
