Funny Looking St Croix Catfish

Something just isn't right with this catfish .. it was 40" it took a 9" sucker when I was retrieving to recast in Hudson.

I forgot to add ... this fish was immediately released after the photo.. it shot away like it was never even caught.

Something tells me I am going to need different rods in my boat for opening weekend. Think I will leave the walleye rods at home and go after the true Minnesota state fish
