0 Captain B.R.K
Superduty- I've got the LMS-332c w/ the Lowrance MN chip. Hope you find to enjoy it as much as I do!
0 doc
You can also download the product simulator from Lowrance and put the chip in the card reader and view it on the computer.
0 Bushwacker
Does anybody know how to zoom in on the map screen when you are split with the sonar and map? I just installed my LMS332 this weekend with the Lakemaster Pro-MN. I can only zoom in when I only have the map up. The set up is awesome to say the least. 0 bkft
On the split screen, you have to press the Pages button twice to switch focus from side to side. There should be a little pop-up dialog box that says as much when you press it once.

0 JP Z
doc,From what Navionics says you can't put the chip on your PC Card Reader as it will "corrupt" the data. Of course I believe they just say this so you don't try to do any manipulating of the card. Can you confirm you don't damage the card at all? 0 doc
I have only used the card reader with the Lakemaster chip so I can't speak for the Navionics chip. I don't see why it would be a problem since it is no different than having it in the unit itself and you are not copying it or writing on it. You need to set the map type in the simulator to the proper map type.
0 PerchJerker
I have heard from more than 1 source that putting your Navionics chip in the card reader on your PC will blow away the data. Must be some program they put on the chip to make sure you don't copy it. Same thing goes with why you have to leave the chip in the reader and can't load it into your gps - done to prevent 1 chip from being used in more than 1 unit at the same time.
