Bushwacker
I saw it at the NW Sportsman Show for $599.99 and I have seen it on a HSOforum for $599.99. I have never bought anything the HSOforum personally, but I have been told it is a great with shipping and availability. I ended up buying mine from Cabela's because of my points and gift certificates. I started hooking it up last night and a person almost needs to be a master electrician to hook it up. HC Eye Hunter
Bushwacker,I am also thinking about getting the LMS 332c. What kinds of problems can I expect hooking it up?
Bushwacker
I don't know if there is really any specific problems to expect. I just ran into the fact that the plugs are too big for the normal transducer holes on my boat, the network, power, and gps hookups are a little confusing. I am not sure whether to hook up just the normal power, or hook up the NMEA constant power also. I think if a person gives himself a couple of hours to do it you should be fine. It is just the first GPS/sonar combo that I have hooked up and it is a little different than the normal sonar only units.
PerchJerker
I got my 332c for $619, no additional tax or shipping charges. I've got several friends that have ordered from the same guy (on-line) and he's great to work with and we've all been very happy with him. He's affiliated with another forum so the link would probably get killed here, but if you give me your email I'll pass along the info if you're interested. The 332c is as easy to install as any other sonar or gps combo. Only thing out of the ordinary is you need to connect 2 sets of power leads to your battery - one for the unit, and 1 for the gps antenna. The 'knob' on the transducer cable was slightly too large to go through the holes in my splashwell, but I ground it down slightly with a dremel tool until it fit through the hole. Captain B.R.K
LundDuckBoat - Called down to Cabela's in Owatonna and had them ship it to me. I have a Cabela's visa card- so used some cash on it towards the purchase. Ended up getting it for like $590-599 before all the taxes and shipping. PLUS I got money on the deal because that cost (doubled)went on my card in cabela's points

Bushwacker
I got mine all hooked up and took it out fishing. Instead of reading all the instructions over and over, I just hooked it up and everything works. The confusing part in the manual was the two power leads like PerchJerker mentioned. The thing is awesome. Guys in the back of my boat could read it just as well as I can sitting right in front of it. The Lakemaster Pro-MN chip is also awesome. It shows every little detail right on. I have about a 15 acre pond in my backyard and it is right on the map. Wow!
