Video of bear and moose fight

Last year, I saw a video of an amazing fight between a grizzly and a moose in Alaska. It took place at a small river, and was filmed by either a hunter or a guide, looked somewhat old and sort of grainy.

Has anyone else seen this, and do you know where I can get a copy?

It was really amazing, it went on for about 45 minutes.

That sounds amazing. Its crazy that those types of things probably happen all the time and to be able to see it live, once in a lifetime.

I think the moose had a broken leg and eventually the bear won. It generated a lot of controversy because people wondered why they didn't just put the moose out of its misery.

Yes, in the video, eventually the bear did win, but it was completely amazing how long it took, and both animals were at complete exhaustion.

It is the best video of nature I have ever seen, that's why I'm looking for a copy of it!

I did a search on limewire...all I could come up with was a vid of two moose trampling a shopper ouside a store, and the old "guy fights bear" vid

Was this the video that started with two bulls fighting and the grizzly then taking the winner? That was on Discovery channel a couple of times last year, they usually have copies of thier shows available for purchase.

mech, if it was I did not see the beginning part with the two bulls fighting, I only say the grizzly and the bull moose, and like I said, that encounter on it's own was roughly about 45 minutes, although if it's the same video, Discovery could have very well edited it to fit into a 30 min. or 1-hour program.
