Gus
I would like to thank everyone who put on the great seminar last night. Nice to meet so many people including, Rick, Matt, Crappie Tom, Hanson, and others. It was great to see a lot of the tidbits I've read and picked up from this great site organized into a seminar that put all the pieces in the correct order. I leared a lot, and got a first hand look at some of the great tools out there. Thanks again. I can't wait to hit the ice this weekend!!Gus

Nice meeting you by the way.I had commented that it was the FM forums coming to life. Sure it was alot of MJ tips from here and there but he brought it all together in a great presentation. Everything from lure selection to rod selection to where you should fish on a piece of structure, why, and at what time of year. Just a great presentation.I've never really been much of a finesse pan fisherman. If they aren't biting good, I just don't fish for them. I can tell you that next winter I'll be hitting the ice with a good noodle rod & spring bobber rod and some ultra small panfish tackle and giving it a shot. I'm pretty much locked into big lake fishing for the rest of the winter so the pannies will have to wait until next winter.ProTrapper- Nice meeting you and chatting.I don't know what to say about Crappie Tom, the guy is a wealth of knowledge and can keep you laughing all night at the same time!! Nice to meet you Tom!For those of you who haven't been to one of these seminars, what are you waiting for!! Listening to MJ talk was probably the most productive hour of my time I've had in a long time.

CrappieJohn
All of you were great to meet! I had a fun time and met with yet more very good people. Thanks for the kudos to all of you. I'd like to say that meeting Matt's parents was indeed an honor. It is easy to see now where Matt gets his wonderful personality. To both of them I'd like to say I hope we can do this again. The dinner afterward was stellar. ProTrapper.....you really missed out on some good eats dude! And as Hansen has stated, a bunch of good laughs. Matt Johnson
I appreciate all the kind words everyone. I'm glad people enjoyed the seminar and gained something from it. It's a pleasure to work with CrappieTom and Rick on these events, the seminars are a lot of fun! We're working on getting the film from the seminar edited and maybe we'll post some for people to watch. Again, I really appreciate all the kind words and without a great audience like the people here at FM and the fishing public, it wouldn't be the same. So a big thank you! I'm looking forward to the next seminar! Good Fishin, Matt Johnson
