I am going out to the backwaters fishing tomorrow morning, and I am wearing all my Viking stuff where I know there will be a bunch of cheeseheads around...so I am setting myself up for some ridicule. As a Vike Fan, I am ready for it.

However, over the last 14 months or so, I have lost all faith in the ability of a Vikings team to pull out a victory in a game where:

(1)anything is on the line for the Vikings

(2) the opponent has some limited ability

(3) on-field conditions do not favor the Vikings overwhelmingly

(4) a Viking loss might help the Packers

(5) Mike Tice is coaching the Vikings

(6) Randy Moss does not have a contract at stake, and hence something to play for.

Congrats on nailing the score right on. I can say I was at least half right with the Vikings 31. Unfortunately the Pack didn't live up to their end of the deal and get the 34.
