Northlander
TrapperDirk it sure would be nice if Coleman offered Jay to buy the rights. I just hope they dont try to make a knock-off of the FishBright and sell it under their name.
Bigfife
I am ready to buy one, but I have one question. What kind of box does it come in when it is mailed? I am giving it as a gift to my Dad and I might have to have it mailed to where he lives. I don't want him to see it before his Birthday.
logon648
Bigfife They are normally shipped in a large envelope however we can certainly put it in a small box with no labels for ya. If you order online state (boxed) in the comments section

I realize it's a Sunday but I just thought I would ask since I will be driving right by.Thanks
Northlander
Curly, call Jay or e-mail him and I think if Jays in town he would do that. Otherwise if your in Superior I can get ya one. What type Lantern? The BaitBox in Superior also has them as does Marine General but I dont think they are open on Sundays. I may be wrong though. You can e-mail me at [email protected] if needed. hanson
The Fish Bright passed my toughest critic's test this weekend- my grandpa! "Where did you get that?" he asks while we were fishing. I said I could get him one! Nice Product!
Northlander
Hanson my grandpa was the same way. He couldnt stand to see me using my old FL-8. He would watch a bobber all day even if it never moved. Even after I caught several fish on something else he was to pig headed to change. I do think he would have used a FishBright if we had them back then though. His eyes were terrible and the FishBright would help him see his bobber better. LOL. Im glad you both liked it. What lantern are ya running it on?
hanson
Northlander-Its one of the cheaper propane Colemans. Not sure of the model or anything. Got it at Galyans a couple years ago with the plastic storage case for about $20. The Fish Bright works pretty good with it.
HoleHopper
I think Mrs. Hopper dont like it as much as I do becouse there is no longer a reason to Quit fishing after the sun goes down.
picksbigwagon
I just want to say that Jay is outstanding. I ordered a fish brite and some snakors on the tenth, got the fish brite in two days, and a note on the snakors I ordered. well, they got pushed back and I called an emailed jay, he called and emailed back and said he was throwing in an extra fish brite becuase of the lateness of the snakors. that is outstanding, Jay you're awsome. I know if I was dealing with a company in the cities, I wouldn't have gotten the service I got from you. Jay is definately a small town kind of guy with outstanding customer service. If you haven't ordered one of his products, do it, they are great. One question thought, my fish brite doesn't allow th handle to move freely. Not a problem, I took it off, but is that common????? Granny
Yea, Jay isn't a salesman. He is an average guy that came up with some great products and he has a mission to make his customers happy. He has a good thing going and I look forward to some future products from him. Granny
HoleHopper
Picksbigwagon, If it totaly restricts the movment of your handle then I think you have it on your lantern wrong. If you are saying that your handle wont sit completly at the bottom side of your lantern then that is normal . I have to take my handle off to put it in the case becouse the handle wont fit around the fishbright. My handle sits at about a 30 degree angle while resting on the top of the fishbright Granny- I like your signature, but what if you cant remember the truth either
Northlander
Picksbigwagen if it wont allow you to put your handle up and you cant squeeze the FishBright to allow it too then I would take a tin snip and just remove a bit of the sides of the FishBright. Not too much and then take a light file after it as it will be sharp. What model do ya have and what FishBright did ya get? [email protected] The Fishbright should be flexable enough so you can sqeeze the handle above it. If not maybe bend the handle out?
picksbigwagon
sorry for the late reply, the kids have been sick latlely....the handle doesn't drop down to the side, it stands up real nice, so there is no problem with it at all. otherwise I just wish I had bought this about 2 months ago since most of my fishing is late at night.
