mjhowe
any body care to comment? No one carries em here and I dont want to order em if they are dump...
rod bender
They look fairly large for carrying in your pocket. I like to keep my waxies in a "chew" type container in my pocket. This keeps them more lively. Nice concept but I think I'll stick with my freebees.
buzbunni
I ripped 'em when they came out. Not really something I thought I needed. Excessive. Well.....that was then. Impulse buy today at FleetFarm. I'll let you know what I think if I get out this weekend.
Sportland_Bait
They are great! They will hold about a hundred waxies. Lindy has already sold out. Much better option than the small plastic containers. For the price it is money well spent.Jason Erlandson
Captain B.R.K
I have one and only put maggies in it. Need to definately fill the PILL with maggies, otherwise they fall through the holes. Easy to flip open- I like it so far BUT have only used it one time.
Northlander
I just wish they were a bit smaller so it would fit in my shirt pocket a bit better. Cant button it closed on most of my shirts. Otherwise its a nice deal. I use my old Copenhagen tins mostly. Carry all the extras in a jacket pocket in the "Big Yellow sifter".
Bruce Mosher
They are nice. Strikemaster has a Bait Puck(about the size of a chew can) that is red and is insulated. Pretty cool! I've got one but I don't know if they are available yet. Bruce Mosher
klbowe
If they are tipped one way the bait is out of the bedding.Once the bait is out of the bedding how long do you have to shake it to get the bait back in the bedding ?Or if you happen to throw it in your bucket or pocket incorrectly the bait has no bedding ?I have not held one in my hand and I am curious how they work, not being critical.I like the idea but I am not just not sure if or how it works. rod bender
Strikemaster bait puck on their HSOforum: $4.95 for 2. Don't know how much better these would be. No sifter involved but might keep them from freezing if you have that problem.
Jim Hudson
I got one a week or so ago and really like the product. The size is bigger but I find that this is a good thing for actually picking up the lil critters. After using my old snuff tins for years, I seen that this product has a lot more room so I could pick up my waxies easier and without getting too much sawdust or what have you on me or in my shelter. For carrying the getter, I stuff it in the front pocket of my hooded sweatshirt which also keeps the waxies active from my body heat.
