Ice in the metro!

Saw ice today in the east metro as I was driving to the gym around 10:00 am. Small pond right off the main road had ice about 6 feet out from shore. Won't be long now!

it is 19 degrees out side this morning wouldnt be suprised to see alittle ice out there.

Actually saw a small pond by my office in Bloomington that was completely iced over!!

Also Ice in St.Cloud in the small ponds this AM

Lake Smetana in Eden Prairie has some thin ice in the back bay. The little creek from Bryant to Smetana has some ice to.

saw some ponds this morning completely covered in ice!!!

I was amazed to see the Minnesota river back waters under the Cedar Ave. bridge to be almost completely frozen over this afternoon. That is a lot of water to have ice on it this early.
