Waterfowl Migration

Saw a flock of snow geese fly overhead at night and heard some specks fly over in the metro along the Mississippi. Migration is certainly in full swing at least in central

MN with majority of snow gone and flooded fields/rivers. I’ve been enjoying looking around and seeing the new faces in town for a couple weeks at least. 

 

Even saw my first mallard/pintail hybrid pictured below.

Wanderer has it correct the hybrid is second from the bottom. For some reason the post shuffled the pictures around.
