Saw one of these as we were cruising by Red lake yesterday.  I think they look pretty cool.

We had a pair of Canada geese fly over us last weekend in, well, Canada.  Pretty surprised to see them that far already.

sand hill cranes are back!!

Haven’t seen or heard those yet!  Snow geese were migrating over a couple days ago.  More and more song birds are showing up.  Plenty of robins.

Friends were snow goose hunting in SD last weekend and doing well.  I had an invitation but just couldn’t take the time to join this year.  Maybe next.

Still seeing a few early divers plus mallards.  A friend in Princeton had wood ducks last weekend.  He’s glad he got his boxes done the weekend before.

My daughter wanted to put up a bird feeder so fleet farm trip Saturday morning it was. Yesterday we had so many birds in the yard it was unreal. A few that i dont think I have ever seen before.  Must have had a 100 robins at one point and about 50 yellow wing black birds. Few cardinals a pair of flickers and all kinds of little winged things.
