A duck got it on our lawn at the lake and all that was left was some feathers, head, and feet.  I think it likely was an eagle.  Could have been a coyote or other predator as well.   I did find a piece of bunny fur/skin in the yard this spring after the snow melted.  Hopefully something that eats them is hanging around.

High speed squirrel has tail grabbed by fox...*POP*  Saw the neighbor dog catch a squirrel the other week, and tore it's tail off. First time I've ever seen a bigger dog catch a squirrel. That dog can run like Wile. E coyote on Acme speed pills.

Was duck hunting with a buddy once who wanted to mount a mature greenhead in the worst way. A beautiful drake Mallard was one of the first ducks we got that day. Being a small backwater with no current, and not having a dog, we generally let our ducks float until the end of the hunt. This one floated for all of about 30 seconds before a big eagle came down and scooped him up and flew away! Was hilarious (for me, at least).
