Funny LL.  My ex was that way.  Never said nice honey or that looks good.  It was always well why didn't you do that too.  We finally couldn't work in the same room together.  I had quit smoking for about 2 years.  She was wallpapering in the den, as I was wiring in another room.  Well I hear her yell and ask me to come and help her quick.  I am picturing wall paper hanging over her head or something.  Here she had a cigarette hanging from her mouth like a sailor and just wanted me to grab her cig since her hands were full of wall paper.  She smoked Pall Mall straights. (no filter)(ya like a sailor)  Well I grabbed the cig and just like in a dream I automatically put it in my mouth and took a big drag off it and it felt like I just inhaled a blow torch.  I got pissed and said don't ever hand me a cigarette again.  I can't believe I took that drag off it.  Just an unconscious reaction.  Ruined my 2 years of non smoking.  I never did have another one though.  We talk on the phone sometimes and I remember why she is my ex.  

AND LL this has nothing to do with your situation so don't overthink it.  Sounds like you have a good thing going so enjoy it.  

I just got back from the NW Angle.  I go there frequently for my work.  Pretty nice drive and takes most of the day.  Nice way to kill a Monday.

Found out recently that an old friend of mine and his new wife  (of many years I just have not met her)  own two beautiful rental homes in the hills outside of Lead SD.  I reserved one for the last part of Sept. and my Mom and Dad and brothers and sister and spouses are going out there for 4 nights.  Really excited about it.  Believe it or not I have never been to the Black Hills.  Been to may other places just not there.  Time for a road trip. 

My salami turned out good.  I will vacuum pack it tonight.  One thing that my Old Fashioned Bologna and my Salami had in common.  The meat sort of sticks to the skin.  What causes that RH?  Both had the artificial casings. The taste is great and I too put lots of garlic in it.  I open my lunch box and it smells like a garlic factory even though I ate that sandwich 3 hours ago.    Well time to go, see ya later.

I have a vivid memory as a kid of finding the butt end of a piece of Summer Sausage in my bedroom closet.  I was probably 5?  I ate it.  I have no idea how it got there and how long it was there but I ate it.  I had to get that off of my chest after seeing and hearing about that Summer Sausage for a few days.  I feel better and I bet yours taste as good if not better than the stuff in my closet

I'd say a Summer Sausage has two butts.  I bet the other one was cut off on the initial cut.  Good point.

We (the guys I go canoeing with) always call that the tip.  We call salami and summer sausage HC because of the part of the horse the old guys who had been in the war claimed it was made from.

Ok then the shop is jittery and antsy and just plain ol tense. whent over everything for the 4th time yeasterday. now we have 700 acres to spread smurf... I mean fertilizer have a good day guys. I see smurf is catching me on Likes, Carry the torch buddy!! I be more active when things slow down. Have fun guys...

It's about to bust loose down here too boar. We're (singular "we") soil sampling today while I'm riding herd on the phone answering questions. Funny how everyone is thinking they're going to cut costs by moving some of what they spend into other areas. Instead they wind up spending the same amount only more wisely on more sure bets rather than on longshots. Amazing how low crop prices eventually bring people back to reality. 

Nice day although it started out at a coolish 18 degrees. Ice in water buckets in the lambing barn and ground frozen, again. Mrs. Cheviot tried to sleep in the bed last night. Luckily Ruby must've provided a barrier for me so Mrs. Cheviot gave up trying to grope me and left for the couch. When I woke up I could hear snoring and it was Ruby!

Mrs. Cheviot is going TV shopping after lunch and wondered if I wanted to go along. No way, Jose. I have things to do. Besides, she's already convinced she wants another TV about the size of the one presently in the living room even though a larger one would probably be justified. I really don't watch that much TV anymore though and when I do it's usually reruns. She monopolizes the remote anyway and watches all the wedding dress shows. She also has an uncanny ability to switch the channel when some scantily clad hot babe appears on the screen so why should I care? Then she whines because I play on the confuser or cell phone. Hello???? I am a heterosexual male of the species.

Well, time to form a posse. LL has been missing since 4:39 yesterday afternoon. My guess is if we start by looking for a person who looks like this, we'll likely corner him. Are those summer sausage butts or are you just glad to see me?

Finally going to be some warm days coming.  Still thinking of taking a day or two off and get in some boat time.  Maybe sneak over to Boars and have breakfast of Lil Debbies.   Not much going on here and that is a good thing.  The wife is chomping at the bit to have a camp fire so I am sure we will be trimming trees this weekend.  And I can finally drag the lawn and smooth out the dog bombs.  That will look great.  A little chance of rain so would be a great combo.  

So no comments from LL yet as you say.  HHmmm..    Oh well he must have got busy on a project.  Smelling too much spray paint maybe.

Backyard rake day. Buddy will be here later to do the majority of it. Front needs to be mowed already. Thick and green already. I put a lot more work into the front than the back, proves what good care does for a lawn. Idjit neighbors barking dog woke me again at 5:15 am this morning. Gonna be a little conversation later today. Love starting the day like that. Looks like we had a drizzle of rain last nite, glass tabletops are dry, but all dirty and spotted. Musta brought some pollen down with it. Suns coming out now, coffee, breakfast, then out to pick up some bags of cypress nuggets and some of the groceries I forgot yesterday. Have a good day, guys.

That's what I wondered.  What do you do with a Cypress Nugget.   Or is that the code name for something else?
