Thanks everyone. Honestly, there hasn't been too much pain more of an nuisance feeling, plus the pain pills have been working pretty well. No swelling or bruising yet. I had a small bowl of mashed potatoes and finally my first cup or coffee for the day, whew thank god I was going through some major withdraws

yeah and hopefully by September when I head to vermilion my mouth will be better, but you never need a reason to eat ice cream, because I always stop at F & D meats in Virginia for about 15 pounds of their jerky to bring home for friends and family,  It's soft enough that I won't need extra poly grip to eat it

Reb's planning a September event at the nudist club before they close for the year.  All you wear is your smile so you'd have that in your favor

I've been to a nude beach in St. Maarten, if the nudist club is anywhere near the same as the beach I'll pass. There were more things there that I never want to see again, the only thing I can say is everyone has had too many Big Macs and years of gravity pulling on things

I'm sick of saying I'm sick, typing I'm sick, and being sick.  Sick of it!  I also know others are sicker than me but it still sucks. Im sure you're sick of hearing me complain about being sick so I will complain about something else.  Wife got home at 9pm or so and I was in bed, tried to snuggle with her and she got mad at me because my hands were cold.  No kidding!!!  I've been laying in bed every night alone and sick and she gives me "The Heisman" stiff arm.  She told me she was tired.  Here's a bleeping tip...when I come home from a 4 day hunting trip I don't have the nuts to tell her "I'm tired" to anything. She also said she was getting up early to go to work to do a spreadsheet.  That didn't happen, she got up at the normal time and left at the normal time.  Sorry to blab this but I did anyway.

I may head to the cabin for a week or so when the weather improves.  I love being up there when the walleyes are running in the creeks.  I've got some work to do and I can be sick and cold up there just as easily as here.  Maybe I can meet a gal who's folks own a resort and I can start cleaning fish for a living.  I can tell clients about my ex wife who pitched a cooler of walleyes away and they will chuckle.

Good Morning.  Little bit of snow so let it snow for it's not sticking on the roads and will be gone soon enough.  Just ordered more sausage seasoning for the summer supply.  Most of the sausage that I have made is gone or spoken for for the guy's at deer camp.  Something new for me to try, Roasted Garlic Sausage.  Anything with the word garlic in it gets my attention.  Polish sausage, Swiss brats, and for bulk Southern Style Breakfast Sausage.  That should take care of me [and family] till fall. 

My wife is serious about this diet.  I'ts called the 17 day diet from Chewfo.  Yogurt, fruits chicken breast, turkey breast, veggies basicly.  i've had more yogurt this week than I've had in 5 years.  Don't mind the fruit and veggies but all white meat poultry gets old after a week strait.  Did one of those 99cent lb.  turkey breasts yesterday in a crock pot with some seasoning and some beef broth.  Was pretty good.  No raking today, so some indoor tasks.  good luck.

LL, I wouldn't snuggle or "snuggle" with someone sick either.  That stuff is contagious.   And when I am sick I get grouchy and want to go lay in a cave somewhere, watch bad tv and be miserable.    Been a few years since I've been sick like that but it is etched in my memory, going from freezing to sweating and back to freezing every few hours. 

It will get better, eventually.

While I hear ya I'm probably not going to give her the prostate infection I have.

The other thing and maybe you won't believe this.  If my kids or wife are sick I could care less if I get sick too by being around them and helping them feel better.  It's part of the deal.

Good morning fellas, felling ok today just minor swelling, bruising and pain but tolerable. Going to enjoy my four days off and other people running the shop for me. I only plan on watching sports, sports & more sports for 4days. Alittle babe winkelman from Ontario and the national walleye tour from leech lake before golf, and pens hockey tonight. Everybody's sick. Even me. It's the $#@! wedder. Ache and hurt way more that normal with a big pounder of a headache. Now that's bad. I have stuff I need to do, and only me to do it. Gonna be a real fun day.  Snivel, cry ,moan, whimper, sniffle. I see today is national beer day; therefore I request someone out there put down a few ice cold Rolling Rocks for me, while chanting "Rocks for Reb!" "Rocks for Reb!" I haveta go get a cup of cawfee, as it's now done. Then I'm gonna try to fight the legs pains long enough to stand and make an egg and toast, if I don't fall face down in the pan from being lightheaded. Whine, whine, whine. Have a good day guys. And don't forget.......

I had prostatitis many moons ago and it was a pain in the, well, you know.  I made many trips to the doc just to make doubly darn sure it wasn't the Big C as it had recently taken my Dad's life. Tried antibiotics of all kinds but because of the nature of the beast, getting antibiotics into the prostate is like crossing the blood:brain barrier I was told. And there are types of prostatitis that are non-bacterial and non-viral related, triggered by dietary issues, etc.. Sitz baths and lots of sex were about all that seemed to help and I'll give you 3 guesses as to which I got more of! There is a double standard too when it comes to being sick in our household. If she's sick, I'm expected to wait on her hand and foot, get stuff and make food she likes, take care of anything and everything. If I get sick, I'm pretty much on my own regardless of what it is and still responsible for holding up my end. And I wonder why she keeps reading the life insurance policy all the time! 

Had a good time at the retirement party yesterday in spite of the corporate cobs stuck firmly up some butts. Luckily they had food as there wasn't enough time to eat lunch yesterday. Saw all kinds of people I hadn't crossed paths with in a while including a guy I used to party with back in the day. He's survived lung cancer and a brain tumor, being restricted to a wheel chair. His mind seemed like it was still sharp though so was glad he made it. Think I have it rough some days then I see that. Still lives in Rochester so need to reestablish that contact.

Thinking I need to plan ahead for weekend grilling. My mind is thinking mushroom bacon Swiss lamburgers along with doing some chicken breasts so we have enough leftovers stockpiled to make a dent in the week. Have an attractive young lass coming to the office in a couple hours to establish another official rain gauge s-i-t-e so had best practice my "hip" language like "groovy", "wow man" and "far out". Maybe play some recent tunes!  Actually we do share an appreciation for old rock and roll. I think she just wants me for my LP collection though.

Will most definitely give you a couple of rocks for Reb later today. The old "33" was made about a half hour from home before it was sold. Not too many beers out there that are better than a nice ice cold rock

National Beer Day!!!  Well that is great. I may work on that tonight now that I have been enlightened with that info.  But that will be after I wash the wall.  Yes Del, I had spaghetti last night.   Turned out to be a good batch too.  Will have left overs for lunch.  RH, I want to make some breakfast sausage.  I think I will do it bulk style.  Will have to get your opinion on your favorite style.  LL I feel for you.  Things do get confusing at times.  Just don't over think it.  What ever will be will be but don't lose your sense of humor!!!  You are in complete control of how happy you are.  Good to hear you are doing ok Coffee, I love ice cream so only buy half gallons for a treat now and then.  Takes a few days to eat it...  Ya it does suck to be sick.  I do like canned chicken noodle soup with no water added.  Like RH anything garlic I like so I add garlic powder to it also.  Might even have 2 cans, then ice cream and potato chips.  All the things I shouldn't eat but love.  OR chili dogs.    Since I don't have the inventory of good dogs and sausages that RH does I have to improvise at times.  Need to up my inventory..  Nice of you to bring the FEMALE friend soup.  Ask Reb what some of his favorite moves are, may speed things up for you.    And Coffee I want to dream of endless hot chicks at the Nudist camp.  Even though I know that is not realistic.  AND I don't want to see men's junk neither.

Still snow in the air here but it is melting so have to think positive.  RH is getting irritated with us complaining about the weather and he is right.  Need to look at the bright side. See ya all later.

Thanks, feeling pretty good. I think after my post-op appointment today if I have a a box of rocks and one of these pain pills they gave me I don't think I will be feeling much of anything

My cuz in Californy, aka Mr. Funny Guy, told me that to get feeling better,  I need to "channel my thoughts" to California, and "get in the zone", and just sent me this.  Said he's "in the zone". Also reminded me it's 85* there. Real funny guy. Wait 'til I see him.
