Slush copter ?

They work very well as long as your not on 3 feet of ice, but until than they work great, and made in MN also!

Works great until it falls out of your drill bit, I've got one sitting on the bottom of Lake Bemidji. Now use the commercial one which can't sink, and it is the only way to go in a permanent house unless you have an electric auger which reverses.

Its the best thing I've ever used.  Cut my setup time in half or more.  No more dripping water scooping out holes and your fishing in no time.  You can clean 8 holes in about 2 minutes.

Awesome. I have had mine for 3 years now. It does take a little longer when the ice gets over 3' thick but still beats the heck out of dipping and carrying buckets out the door. Ron, did you lose the foam piece that is on the shaft that keeps it afloat?

Same question, they come with a float. Did you buy the other brand at Fleet? It's the best $30 I've ever spent for my back, no more carrying slush. The 2 minute comment is more like 20 seconds, it flushes just like a toilet. I still haven't figured out where the ice goes because it never comes up in another hole, I guess only God knows. Great product and nice people to order from that make them.

OK I am stupid and/or cheap but tell me more about the paint mixer-do you attach it to a drill? Does it scoop out the slush or shoot it into the lake?

put it in a drill, use a highest speed and it will push  the ice down. it works like the slush copter. just have to make sure you have it good and tight in the drill. maybe some foam  pipe insulation on the shaft might work to keep it afloat. for five bucks what have you got to lose!

I was talking about the paint mixer. After I lost mine, I bought the slush copter made up north with the foam sleeve, and I would not be without it in my shack when I am drilling new holes with my gas auger. When I reopen holes with my electric, which runs slowly, I simply reverse the bit to throw the slush down under the ice. I don't have the money for an Ion electric with reverse which would be the clear ticket.
