Best smart phone App for lake maps?

What is the best app for lake maps on your phone? I've heard about a few people using the Navionics. I see a boating USA version for $9.99 and a Boating: marine & lakes charts routes option that appears to be free. Any thoughts?

I use Navionics and like it gives good detail works for what I need.

Get the Boating USA for $9.99. It has the Navionics and the Sonar Charts included. The Marine and Lakes is just a trial for the Boating USA. I think you get 24 hours to explore the features of the boating app for free. The $9.99 is money well spent.

Boating USA is the Navionics app. At least it is in the iPhone app store.

Aren't many out there only one I found was Navionics for android anyway. Good but at times depth is way off.

I just was recommended an app called "Fishidy" I downloaded to my phone but have not used it yet so I can't compare it to my Navionics. I hope it's not as accurate since it's a free app. What I do like about the fishidy app is that you can see the aerial and the contours in the lake.

Boating USA (Navonics) $9.95 You can also get the US and Canada Edition for $14.95 which is what I have. Works great on the ice.

I also heard from NOT, and I do repeat NOT a very good or reliable source that if you hold your Adroid in your right hand and stick your left pointing finger in the water, the actual depth will show on the phone.

DISCLAIMER: DOES NOT WORK WITH APPLE...you use a tether attached to the I phone and lower it into the water to find the depth. CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?????

I was using the fishidy app. I found it not very accurate. As I sit in my living room on the south side of the lake it has me on the north west cornerof the lake.
