elkhuntingfan
The DNR is holding public meetings starting February 2nd to get input from the public regarding where the deer population goals should be set. If you want to have a say, attend the meetings. The state is broken into a bunch of different areas, and the meetings this year address about 1/3 of the state. Here is the link to the notices. hoppe56307
I thought I would bring this back up.I am curious as to when the goal setting process is going to be done in my area, which should be this winter, and how do I apply to be on the advisory team? I tried looking it up on the dnr page but it only has the 2015 areas listed, and does not show where a person can apply to be on the areas of the state that have not had their advisory meetings? ANYFISH2
I don't want to talk out of place, I thought I heard the DNR was suspending the goal setting process until the audit is complete. So there may not be one this winter.
