Icetrecker ice cleats

Got some ice cleats for Christmas they are icetreckers. Anyone have these? If so what do you think. Thanks!

let us know how you like them. I decided on the DueNorth brand. Used them Saturday and love them. Accidentally grabbed the ones for shoes but they work dandy on my big boots. I looked at the icetreckers but thought they might slide instead of bite.

I have the ice trekker diamond or whatever they're called. I've used a lot of different brands and so far these are my favorite.

The reason I am asking is these are made of square link chain without any points and I am worried that I will slide on ice instead of digging into the ice.

The diamond one that Mattl talks about have pointed tips on the chains.

I have the icetrekkers with the diamond grips. I've had them a few years now and like them a lot.

I just bought katoolas but haven't had a chance to try them out but they don't look like slipping will be any problem.

I have the ice trekkers too, diamond grips. They work pretty good. My next set will be ice climber style. Some of them on the auction site look bomb diggity.

I had some chain type ones prior and they worked better as they got older until they got weak anda link broke.
