Teaser luck?

How many run a teaser? I usually run a teaser n golf ball, and a decoy at the same time. Very few come to teaser. What's your guys luck for those that run one?

I always have a spinner in the house. There are days that it's the only thing that will bring in the fish. It's like that spinning spoon just hypnotize's them.

Spinner and spoons all the time, I use it more than decoys , live or fake

I never leave home without it. Last year it out produced my decoys some years the reverse is true. I like to daisy chain contrasting color spoons together or do the spoon and a golf ball. Pike usually just slide in and stare at the spoon giving you time to decide if its one you want stab or just admire. They are more aggressive towards the decoys. If you work the spoon by jigging it and letting it flutter down they will hit it. but the slow spin seems to just mesmerize them.

I have a homemade spinner made out of an old hand egg beater. I use is maybe a third to half of the times I go out. Some days it is all they want other days they ignore it. It seems to be another great trick to have in your arsenal, and usually you end up with a easy shot when the fish come in to a spoon that's spinning.

I have a lot of luck with spoons, plus you normally get a good shot because they come in slower
