live suckers for spearing

what are you guys hearing or seeing for the cost of live suckers used fro dekes? I heard they where going to be spendy. not talking thes 2 lbers but 10 to 12 inchers!!

Fletcher's bait in Sauk centre grew a bumper crop of them this year, andI believe they are sellingthem for $2.50, they also sell wholesale to a lot of bait shops around, I don't think the mark up should be too far off that. Not sure if that translates to the east part of the state though

I was at Thorn Bros. this fall and the muskie people were paying $13.00 for larger suckers. I sometimes wonder who's the sucker is.

They go for $2 plus tax at my local bait store in town.

Fish lake bait is always the same and his bait is fresh, plus this year he has some 8-10" creek chubs.
