Venny Stew

This one is very easy and very good. I call it hunters stew. Add yours cuz I want to try it.

Brown 2 pounds cut up venny

Cut up 3 nice red taters with peelings

Cut up 3 large carrots

Cut up 1 large onion

Cut up 1 large pepper... any color

Put all in crock pot

sprinkle a tsp of pepper

Mix 2 cans tomato soup with one can water and pour over top

on high for about 4 or 5 hours.

Option.. Add a tsp of montreal st seasoning.

I use cream of celery soup and canned wild rice

that sound good.never have tried any rice in venny stew. I have used cream of chicken and cream of mushroom also. just a tadd of white wine with these is nice.

I've sure if you had any Hen of the Woods in the Freezer or the like you could add this to the dish.....hmmmmmm

2 can tomato soup, 1 can water. sooooo not real thick, but not a soup. hows that for an answer.

More like a stoup. lol I did a crock pot stew the other day using McCormic seasoning packets and it came out great.
