muzzle loader primers

Whats the shelf life of primers. I have some that are about 2 years old. Besides the obvious of trying them out, any idea how long they last if they are stored in a cool dry place? Thanks.

2 years old I would not worry about it . I have used rifle and shotgun primers that are more than 30 years old with no problems not even 1 missfire.

I bought a case of a 1000 primers 8 or 9 years ago and they still work fine.

Keep em dry and bang away!!!

Ive actualy washed some in the washeing machine by accident, afor gigs put them in the window sill to dry out an they still went bang, but wouldnt trust them in the field.
