Dual propane regulator

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know where I can get a dual propane regulator of my ice castle? I have 2 30 lb tanks and it came with only one hose for the tanks. I think it would be a real pain changing that in the middle of the night on a real cold night .

Any idea on the cost with the quick connect fasteners?

Thanks !

The online auction site usually has a few for a good price.

For what it's worth, I never set mine to automatically switch over. It's nice to know if/when the first tank runs out so you can accurately gauge how much time you have left, or if you need to make a propane run.

How do you set it to NOT switch over?? My ice castle also came with the single, bought a double at the local camper place, and it just has a lever pointed to one tank or the other, but it WILL automatically switch over, I have to watch the red/green gauge to know whether I'm empty on that tank.

I do the same thing. Easy to find the regulators, online or just do a search. Its worth the time as they do vary in price.

If I did not close the valve on the other tank, I would empty the both of them as I would forget about them. Easy to open the valve is the heat quits.

So if you don't plan on using the auto switch over feature, save some money and just get a dual regulator with manual switch.

I found the best price at Miltona Blacksmith. Even though I built my own frame Don sold me many of the components at a price that was better than I could find elsewhere, and I did spend a lot of time on the web searching for best prices.
