Leaving TV in house

Recommended Posts

From what I have read, for a LCD, maybe, for others, read the owners manual as that should state what temps the TV is ok in.

I always bring mine in the house when I am done fishing just to be safe. Never had any issues, just trying to be a bit more cautious.

I've always taken mine out but it's always was a pain to deal with. Half the time I would bring it out and would be too lazy to take it out of the case I had for it and hook it up. My buddy has a flat screen in his cabin up in Canada and it's been just fine. The key is to let it warm up before turning it on.

My brother has a 3 season screen porch with a LCD TV mounted to the wall for viewing from the hot tub and he has not had any problems going on 2-3 years. His TV never warms up before turning it on.
