Crappy photo as I was alone in the boat, but this beast was 21" long. I'm not a bass guy, so wanted to ask how much this fish might have weighed?

As others have mentioned 5.5 + pounds. Here is a common formula that is used for determining bass(smallmouth and largemouth) weight based on length.

length x length x length divided by 1600. Girth will play a role but generally only about 1/2 pound.

Thanks guys, I was guessing 6+, but I am a fisherman blush and what kind of fisherman would I be if I didn't embellish a little bit? grin

At any rate, it was 2 inches better than my previous best. I always thought I'd mount a 20 incher, but when it got right down to it, I released her without any hesitation.
