Those are some dandy bucks pointerdog. Couple shooters for sure. Seeing quite a few large mature bucks and a couple young studs that will grow up to be true giants for sure!

Phorn, that's one heck of a buck with a nice sized body. With a few weeks of growth yet, this one will be a dandy.

In one of the woods where I take my granddaughter youth hunting, we have approx. 7 different bucks on the camera.

One 8, one 10 and last night a dandy 12 came in about 7pm. I will see if I can get the photo of the 12 up, it's worth looking at. Showed it to our oldest granddaughter and she said she hopes it comes by come hunting time. last year, her first year she shot an 8 and this 12 would be fantastic if we could get a whack at it.

That would be something if she could get a chance at this buck, would be an 8pt at age 11 and then a 12pt at age 12. If we were that lucky, not sure what she would have to look forward to after that buck. Otherwise maybe the 8pt or the 10pt could stroll along. Looking forward to this year with her in the stand.

Sounds like you have made some really good memories with your granddaughter. When it all comes down to it thats what really matters. I hope you can post some pictures and I hope you and your grandaughter the best. Keep us posted.And I'll hopefully have some more pictures in a few weeks to share.

Put out a cam on a trail were I've been seeing a few buck tracks and left it out for two wks hoping to find some motivation to be back here during the season. Had does and fawns throughout both weeks, but the bucks started showing up every couple a days the last week I left it out. At least I know they're around..

Not huge, but I wouldn't have any problem drawing back on this one that came in at 9 in the morning last Friday. Hope he does the same thing opening morning. 120ish is my guess.

This one looks like a different smaller buck with a tight rack.
